FAQ

What makes your method different than traditional fitness training?

Unlike traditional personal training where the focus is typically on "shredding" for an hour at the gym, I focus on our daily habits that have a far greater impact on our muscle efficiency and performance than any 60-minute workout does. My method also focuses heavily on posture and working the body as a whole rather than spot treating specific areas. Because the body is so interconnected, our parts cannot be isolated from each other. I find it important to learn to feel and understand those connections to get the most out of exercise.

I hear you mention posture in your descriptions, why does that matter?

While it isn't absolute, and there are other factors to consider, your posture tells a lot about which muscles are firing and which muscles are being lazy. By gaining a more correct posture, we optimize muscle balance and are able to be stronger, faster and compete at a higher level.

What's included in the
6 week Rodeo Ready Un-boot Camp?

The Rodeo Ready Un-boot Camp is hosted four times per year and includes 12 exercise videos and one 60 minute group coaching call per week.

What is included in the 12 week Outride the Competition Program?

There are 3 stages in the Outride the Competition Program. Each stage lasts approximately 4 weeks and you receive 5 self-guided exercise videos along with a new educational/anatomy video each week. You also get bi-weekly coaching calls for more personal support throughout your journey.

What time commitment do your programs require?

All programs require a 20–30-minute time commitment per day. Coaching calls for the Rodeo Ready Un-Boot Camp are once per week and are 60 minutes long.

What equipment will I need?

Equipment for all programs is minimal. Things around the house can be used, but it’s easiest if you have these few items: a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a half dome, “Pinky” or yoga massage ball, a yoga strap, and a set of small round resistance bands with a long resistance band. All items can be found at most sporting goods stores or online. A complete list of items needed will be provided to you when you purchase a program.

What if I miss a coaching call in the “Rodeo Ready Un-Boot camp?”

All coaching calls are recorded, and a replay link is sent out within 24 hours. So, if you miss a call-no worries!

Do you offer in-person group trainings or workshops?

I do! If you are interested in hosting a workshop, presentation, or other group training, please contact me for information and pricing options.
